Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:and ye shall be hated of all nations for my names sake. 10. And thenshall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Now, this is an obvious sign of the end times. But, reading this, you might be inclined to think “Oh, this doesn’t happen. Christians aren’t killed”

From 2008 to 2009 approximately 176,000 Christians are martyred. That’s a lot of people. One hundred seventy six thousand people. That’s 10 thousand more people then in the year 2000.

According to the World Evangelical Alliance, over 200 million Christians in at least 60 countries are denied fundamental human rights solely because of their faith.

Not only that, but even the name of God offends people, or so they say. Even in America, you can get made fun of, publicly harassed, sued, and more. This is all a form of affliction or persecution. 

So, when you think about it, yes, it is happening, right now.
